Introducing the IntrudIR Alert™ thermal imager, a state-of-the-art, patent-pending infrared command/control, alarm and tracking system. This infrared security and thermal imaging system allows a single operator to monitor and control a large array of imagers and other sensors over a wide area, providing highly improved tactical and situational awareness and early warning of hostile or unidentified persons or vehicles. Designed as an add-on module to work with IEC’s thermal imaging system, NightStalkIR™, the IntrudIR Alert™ system provides features such as:
• Image Enhancement and Digital Recording
• Programmable Scan Patterns
• Tactical View showing Imager Position,
• Advanced Alarm Capabilities and Logic
• Target Tracking
Along with these individual unit capabilities, IntrudIR Alert™ provides a variety of system-level features that multiply its infrared thermal imaging capabilities and usefulness:
• Expandability
• Networkability
• Integration with Other Sensors
• Integration as a Component into Wider Security
- Systems and Networks
System Features
Image Enhancement and Digital Recording
• Various image transforms are provided to allow the
user to optimize the image quality from the thermal
imager
• Digital capture of still images or short video clips,
either on command or in response to alarms
Programmable Scan Patterns
• User configurable imager position presets
• Dwell time at each location can be individually set
Tactical View showing Imager Position
• Maps, diagrams, or overhead imagery can be loaded
• Icons showing the field of view of each imager, its
current aiming direction and its alarm condition
Advanced Alarm Capabilities and Logic
• The patent-pending alarm algorithms can be configured
to use thermal signature, motion detection, or a
combination of both, providing significant reduction
of false alarms
Target Tracking
• Target tracking based on thermal signature
• Can be command initiated, or track-on-alarm
Expandability
• Modular system design allows additional systems
or sensors to be added at any time
• System updates can be added to the host device,
and propagated to all other attached modules
Networkability
• Multiple IntrudIR Alert™ systems can be linked
together via Ethernet
• System provides IP addressability
Integration with Other Sensors
• Other sensors such as magnetic, seismic, and PIR
sensors can be easily integrated
• These cost-effective sensors can be used to provide
broad-area, continuous monitoring of entire regions,
and direct cameras to those areas when needed
• Integration as a Component into Wider Security
Systems and Networks
• An API is available to allow full integration of the
module with all functions into broader security systems
